Global electricity demand from data centers is projected to reach 1,300 TWh by 2035, according to GlobeNewsWire, driven almost entirely by AI expansion. Microsoft, Amazon, and Google have all signed multi-year nuclear power deals. Nuclear is the only baseload energy source that can deliver the scale and uptime AI infrastructure requires. The question is not whether nuclear gets built.
It is whether companies like Lightbridge, NuScale, and Oklo can move fast enough.
