Netflix just hiked prices on every single tier. Ad-supported goes from $7.99 to $8.99, standard from $17.99 to $19.99, and premium from $24.99 to $26.99. Extra member fees went up too, $6.99 for ad plans and $9.99 for ad-free. JPMorgan estimates the increases could add $1.7 billion in annualized revenue with minimal churn risk.
The company plans to spend $20 billion on content in 2026, up from $18 billion last year. That is the playbook now: raise prices, invest the difference, and bet that nobody cancels. NFLX closed at $93.15 on Monday. So far, Wall Street is buying it.
